This week the SIP Voluntary Community team held a celebration event at Qube Oswestry thanking volunteers.
Current volunteers were also invited to share their experiences to attendees including the High Sheriff of Shropshire and Deputy Mayor of Oswestry.
The event highlighted the breadth of volunteering opportunities available across the county and the benefits the people who volunteer get to experience.
Allision Richardson, Operations Manager for SIP, said: “Thank you to everyone who joined us in recognising the passion and hard work of Shropshire volunteers.
“The stories shared were truly inspiring and have served as a reminder at the impact that volunteering has, not just on organisations but the individuals themselves.”
